Emma's is based in Penshaw, Sunderland. She creates a holistic blend of massage techniques to create bespoke treatments based on your individual needs and preferences. The broad spectrum of treatments available means that there is something for everyone.
Emma is an LTA Therapist trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (FG-MLD®) of the Upper & Lower Limbs. This specialist training means that she has the knowledge and skill treat lymphoedema, chronic swelling and post operative swelling.
Emma is a Restore Scar Therapy Practitioner. Recommended by most medical professionals to promote healthy scar formation. This therapy is a holistic approach to the treatment of scars and the wider areas that can be disrupted by surgery or trauma.
She is now offering Craniosacral Therapy. An amazing that uses a non-invasive, soft, subtle touch that has a powerful affect on the central nervous system which can influence and improve how the whole body functions.
Emma is a CThA certified and approved Oncology Massage Therapist.
She also holds certificates in Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Hot and Cold Stones, Warm Bamboo, Myofascial Release and Pregnancy massage.
For Emma, massage is a wonderful way to connect with the whole body and she has incorporated complementary therapies into her practice to create a more advanced and holistic approach. By combining and blending therapies Emma finds the best ways to help clients live comfortably in their body.
Emma strongly believes in the power of touch and strives to create a sense of purpose, wellbeing, release (emotional and physical) and relaxation in all her sessions.
Appointments are available during the day and on some evenings giving you plenty of flexibility for bookings. During your first visit, you will have a short confidential consultation to get to know your needs and goals to allow for an individualised service. Everything will be provided including towels.
