Deep oscillation has proven effects at reducing fibrosis and increasing lymphatic flow. This is ideal for pre surgical treatment for liposuction for lipoedema as fibrosis can form around the lipoedemous fat and make it hard for the surgeon during its removal. Using Deep oscillation before surgery reduces the amount of fibrosis and any oedema resulting in an easier, less traumatic surgery and therefore easier recovery.

The lymphatic system, which is responsible for fluid transport around the body, is impaired or damages in conditions like lymphoedema and lipoedema. The lymphatic system does not have its own pump in the same way that blood is pumped around the body by the heart. Lymph fluid is transported in a variety of ways including the contraction of the surrounding skeletal muscles. The Deep Oscillator stimulates muscle contraction and filaments attached to lymphatic vessels allowing fluid to both enter the lymphatics, instead of sitting under the skin, and to be taken away to deeper lymphatic vessels to be circulated back into the blood.
